Went out with John, Eddie, Jessie and Zack , looking for someplace to take pictures in the snow. After being kicked out of the Cavalier, we came across a fun little hill full of people sledding on anything that would slide and having the time of their life.

Been busy at work so haven’t really taken any photos aside from Hockey and all but the last 2 home games of this season have been posted (www.wrightcoastsurf.com/admirals) , I’m also working on some photos that I shot for 17TH Street Surf Shop last weekend with Philip Goold and Samantha Sarcinella. And as it stands right now I’ll be taking a trip with Ryan and Wendy Merritt and Suzie Boyce to Panama on Feb 19th…so there should be some photo ops in the near future.

I heard from Kim Merritt that there was a tournament on Saturday…so I asked him for directions and showed up! No spectacular shots, but I hope somebody enjoys them.

Even though they were outscored, it was actually a fun game to watch and the Ad’s put forth a good effort. Even Aaron had a good time!

Again the admirals piled on the shots on goal and Dustin Tokarski earned a shutout in his professional hockey debut. Next home games are on Oct 23 and 24th vs the Portland Pirates.

Radem Smolenak returns to Norfolk
Admirals had their first home game of the 2009/2010 season. Close game but the Ad’s came up on the short end of a 2-1 score although they outshot Manchester almost 2 to 1.  Good game and the rematch is tonight at 7:05pm with a FREE public skate session with the team right after the game. There will be a limited supply of free skate rentals too….Come support and meet the team and get your photo taken with some of them.

Finally…after fighting all night with my router and then website, I give you August 26 , 2009’s Shadowlawn Surf Club Photos.  Please know that I’m aware some people are having problems with the galleries not resizing correctly when you click on a thumbnail. If you do click on a smaller image and the page appears to go blank, look at the bottom and left sides of your web browser, if you see scroll bars that means the page is there, it’s just too big for your screen, scroll halfway to the right and halfway down and the larger images should be in the center. Sorry for this inconvenience, but I’m an idiot and can not figure out why this is happening…

Waiting it out in KDH to see what’s happening, just got word that they may be closing down Highway 12 in Rodanthe. I’ll probably be heading north to Va Beach shortly to shoot the good light at the home break, then make the call for Sunday later one today…stay tuned for some photos.
I’m still in Rodanthe, trying to decide what’s going on for Saturday and Sunday… I shot a bit today with the D2h and will post the photos as soon as I get some time, I do have a couple on Facebook if you’re into that.
