I will be out of town all next week on Vacation and I’d like to get everyone their photos before I leave on Friday night.

First up…I’ve added rss feeds from the National Hurricane Center on the left column. Links for any new updates for storms in the Atlantic should be available as soon as the NHC posts them to their site. Click on the updates and you’ll be taken to the NHC site for info.

next is…It’s Wednesday night which means Shadowlawn Surf Club night at 1st street….I have all prints for every order except one that was placed yesterday.  I’ll try and send individual emails out today to let everyone know, I’ll have these prints with me tonight, or can drop them off.

Finally in non surf/photography news.. It appears as though Michael Vick might be in some kind of legal trouble.  According to this link he has been doing some ‘not so nice’ things…http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,293268,00.html

with that kind of loot, they could build a bathhouse and concession stand at 1st street, and extend the boardwalk out to the end of the jetty.

Another good Wednesday crowd!!! feel free to leave comments and rate  the images in the galleries, I’m thinking about putting together a photo-book at the end of the summer and may use that info when it comes time to choose the shots.

Not much going on other than the heat…I’m still working on a couple of non-surfing galleries, not sure when I’ll ever finish those, hopefully tonight.  Tomorrow is Shadowlawn Surf Club night at 1st street so I’ll be back there for a couple/few hours.

In the meantime, here’s a shot I took of the Hatteras Light on Saturday (Aug 4th) morning.

After hitting the beach in Nags head at 7am and then heading all the way to the Lighthouse for a few photos, then back up to Rodanthe where it was TOOOOOOO DAMN HOT!  and not worth carrying all that gear to the beach. I ended up back in KDH and saw the sign that the DareDevils were playing, so I decided I’d try and shoot some Baseball. Photos aren’t the best shots, but it was fun to shoot. Might have to do this some more….maybe the Tides? until Hockey Season starts back up!!!

Friday night nags head

An even bigger crowd than last week… I’m still trying to get over being sick, and almost didn’t show up, but after sleeping most of the day, I figured I’d get out and see if some fresh air would do me right don’t think it did…but I did get some shots of everyone having fun.  F.Y.I.  to save time, and get these uploaded quickly, no editting was done on the images that are in the gallery.  With the sun going down and shadows from the hotels some images may appear muddy compared to others, as an example below I have an editted and uneditted version of the same image. Any photos ordered will be editted for a better exposure.
