May 14th 2008 Va Beach -
Wednesday, May 14th, 2008I still don’t have the long lens to replace the one I broke…so I decided to go with the 200 and shoot from the Jetty…now I need to sell some photos to pay for that ticket!
I’ll have more shots from the mid-afternoon but the break kind of far out for the 200mm so I’ll have to edit most of them.

May 13- Good Surf - No Lens!
Tuesday, May 13th, 2008It looks like the forecasts are calling it close to epic the next couple of days and I’m still without a big lens. Just to set the record straight - Cookie did not break my 400mm, we just needed somebody to blame and he was right there when it happened. 
Anyway, my plans are to shoot in Va Beach on Wednesday and Thursday afternoon, with the possibility of taking all day Wednesday off. I won’t have the usual reach but I should be able to manage. My hopes are plenty of lefts heading towards the jetty!
