Saturday, June 21st, 2008The fine for being on the Jetty is $35.00 the total after paying the court costs $111.00…
…at least I got 111 sky miles for paying the fine, thank you very much!

2008 Shadowlawn Surf Club – June 18th
Wednesday, June 18th, 2008First ‘official’ Shadowlawn Surf Club night of 2008….weather was on the cool side, surf was pretty much non existent, but still a great evening on the beach with a pretty big turnout. See ya next Wednesday.

June 14th – Zeke’s Lil Rat Surfcus III
Monday, June 16th, 2008The 3rd annual Zeke’s Lil Rat Surfcus was held on Saturday June 14th in the smoke filled air at 1st Street in Va Beach. Lighting was terrible for most of the day and since I still haven’t paid the last ticket I got for being on the Jetty, I decided I wasn’t going to push my luck today.

Thursday, June 12th, 2008…one of my all time favorites TOAD THE WET SPROCKET - and tickets are only something like 20 bucks. That’s not much more than I paid to see them at the Metro in Richmond in 1989.Â

Zeke’s Lil Rat Surfcus – Saturday June 14th 1st St VB
Thursday, June 12th, 2008The 3rd annual Zeke Contest is taking place this Saturday in Va Beach at 8:00 am.
Entry fee is a can of food for the local Food Bank. Bring the kids down for a good time and a good cause.
