Merry Christmas to all!! 

Thanks to everyone for visiting the site this year, I’ve had over 1.2 million page views (and my webstats were down for a month), now if I had a nickle for each one of those page views…

I’ve created some WrightCoastSurf.com wallpaper for you computers, currently I have 3 shots from Hawaii ready in three different sizes and I’ll be adding more if you really want em so email me if there are specific shots you’d like me to consider.

I also spent a few hours on the jetty on Christmas Eve morning shooting some decent surf with my brand new camera.  As much as I love my D2h, I think everyone is going to be happy with what the D3 is capable of.

Stolen board - 9′4” hotline - yellow bottom w/yellow rails - stolen last night in rodanthe- if you see this board call me 757-425-2188.

Some idiot jacked my friends board from underneath out rental house sometime between Saturday night and Sunday morning. They tried getting into the cars but all but one was locked, the unlocked one had nothing in it so they struck out there.  I have a feeling this is some local group who hunt around on check-in night for things to steal. We know that other cars were broken into and stuff stolen.  If anyone at any of the shops sees this board please let me know.

WRV Va Beach wins again 3rd year in a row, but even that isn’t as cool as the Osprey Catching 2 fish at the same time!!!! I forgot to mention that the Terriyaki Burger at Tortuga’s is the best tasting burger EVER!

F.Y.I. I JUST ADDED ABOUT 100 MORE PHOTOS TO THE APRIL 21 GALLERY THAT DIDN’T GET UPLOADED LAST NITE! 

Decided to stay in town and shoot the contest instead of heading to the island, and even then I didn’t stay for the entire thing…surf was looking less consistant so I decided to bag it and come home. Lots of surfing photos, and a bunch of candid people shots on the beach, I think there are even a couple of the obligatory bird photos in the bunch along with Theresa on her borrowed horse….

Drove All the way down and Hung out with Mickey Mcarthy for most of the day shooting, Zach Kenny, Noah Snyder, Jesse Hines, Brett Barley, Joey Crum, Will Skudin and anyone else who happened to be there.  Froze all morning…got a few shots, but the afternoon session was the best.

I was skunked in Puerto…zero surf, so I only have a few sunset shots and some tourist stuff to post whenever I get a chance.
