Friday Night - Feb 27th - Admirals/Heroes for the American Red Cross Puck Giveaway – Pucks will be given away to the first 2,000 fans, courtesy of the American Red Cross.

I’ve been trying to upload the Puerto Rico photos but the gallery is bugging out. I’m going to try and create an entire new gallery and see if that does the trick.

ok, I’ve tweaked a few things on the site to, hopefully, make it less boring. Use the photos above to nagivate to sub pages and the images on those pages will take you to the galleries. You can also find postings by category by using the category links on the bottom of the right colum.

Finally fixed the software issue, so here are the shots from Sunday the 28th, with a few from Saturday the 27th Neptune contest.
Conditions for shooting pretty much sucked, I have not done any post editting on these shots, they are straight out of the camera.

It’s 4:30 am here in Southern California and today we’re expecting to see the Finals of the 2008 Boost Mobile Pro contest.
I have a ton of shots from the 2nd, 3rd and 4th rounds to post.  Some I’ve already editted and there is a slideshow on SurfKDH.com right now, the rest of the photos will be posted late tonight.Â
Contest should be over around 1pm pacific time so it’s all free surfing and tourist photos after that.

Brady Styron and myself shot the first 11 or 12 heats today before heading north to check out the action at the Wedge. We’ll be back on Tuesday the 9th for more Trestles Coverage.

The 24 nightmare trip from hell ended with us Arriving at Orange County airport around 11am Sunday. We headed south to Oceanside to shoot off the jetty while John Barnes paddled out for a few waves.

watch the sun come up as the front that kept Fay from heading north moves in, check out the direction of the clouds goes from west northwest to north northeast…this is a sequence of shots taken every 24 seconds for a couple of hours…more to come, maybe…
I’ve changed this clip to show at 6 frames per second without all the garbled crap from the previous conversion.

Thanks to everyone for visiting the site this year, I’ve had over 1.2 million page views (and my webstats were down for a month), now if I had a nickle for each one of those page views…

I also spent a few hours on the jetty on Christmas Eve morning shooting some decent surf with my brand new camera. As much as I love my D2h, I think everyone is going to be happy with what the D3 is capable of.

I’m on my way to China, and will return (hopefully) on the 10th of November. Please don’t place any orders while I’m away, I will not be able to fill them until after I return.

Stolen board - 9′4” hotline - yellow bottom w/yellow rails - stolen last night in rodanthe- if you see this board call me 757-425-2188.
Some idiot jacked my friends board from underneath out rental house sometime between Saturday night and Sunday morning. They tried getting into the cars but all but one was locked, the unlocked one had nothing in it so they struck out there. I have a feeling this is some local group who hunt around on check-in night for things to steal. We know that other cars were broken into and stuff stolen. If anyone at any of the shops sees this board please let me know.
