Finally…after fighting all night with my router and then website, I give you August 26 , 2009′s Shadowlawn Surf Club Photos. Please know that I’m aware some people are having problems with the galleries not resizing correctly when you click on a thumbnail. If you do click on a smaller image and the page appears to go blank, look at the bottom and left sides of your web browser, if you see scroll bars that means the page is there, it’s just too big for your screen, scroll halfway to the right and halfway down and the larger images should be in the center. Sorry for this inconvenience, but I’m an idiot and can not figure out why this is happening…

First up are the SUPER GROMS. I tried to get as many of them as I could but it’s just not possible. I haven’t looked at any of the images yet so there’s a good chance some our out of focus or over/under exposed…sorry, I just wanted to get them up a.s.a.p.

August 23rd 2008 ECSC ‘non-super grom’ photos…again, I haven’t even looked at them so some are probably out of focus and many are probably not exposed correctly, because editting takes time and I didn’t bring any sunscreen with me today…’you figure it out’

I’ll be heading back to Hatteras for my yearly vacation with The Wyatts on the 16th. Hopefully we’ll see a repeat of last years solid surf, and if I’m lucky a good lightning storm and/or water spout or two.
Until then, we’ll just have to focus on what’s up in Va Beach, like the weekly Shadowlawn Surf Club get together.

First ‘official’ Shadowlawn Surf Club night of 2008….weather was on the cool side, surf was pretty much non existent, but still a great evening on the beach with a pretty big turnout. See ya next Wednesday.

I have 20 prints of the image below at 8”x12” (can’t crop to 8×10 because we’d lose some kids). I got a good deal on the prints so I’m selling them at $5.00 each. If you’ve already purchased one of these at 4×6 I will be giving you an 8×12 so don’t worry about ordering unless you want another one.  Just email me with Shadowlawn Kids in the subject line and let me know how many you’d like.

The sun’s setting earlier now so the Gallery isn’t as large as usual. This is the last Wednesday night for the Shadowlawn Surf Club, next week it moves to Friday, I plan on being on the beach. I should have all orders filled this week, or early next week. Â

Another large crowd and lot’s of Kids enjoying the cool beach evening! Once again, anybody who placed an order prior to august 14th, I have your photos. I will try and email you tomorrow. I will be out of town all next week on Vacation and I’d like to get everyone their photos before I leave on Friday night.

Another good Wednesday crowd!!! feel free to leave comments and rate the images in the galleries, I’m thinking about putting together a photo-book at the end of the summer and may use that info when it comes time to choose the shots.

An even bigger crowd than last week… I’m still trying to get over being sick, and almost didn’t show up, but after sleeping most of the day, I figured I’d get out and see if some fresh air would do me right don’t think it did…but I did get some shots of everyone having fun. F.Y.I. to save time, and get these uploaded quickly, no editting was done on the images that are in the gallery. With the sun going down and shadows from the hotels some images may appear muddy compared to others, as an example below I have an editted and uneditted version of the same image. Any photos ordered will be editted for a better exposure.

Actually had some surf again this afternoon, showed up to take some pics of the Shadowlawn crew hanging out on the beach…didn’t realize how big the group has become since last summer, and was treated to some fairly decent surf. Even the Dolphin were having fun. I’ll be back down next Wednesday hopefully I can pull of a group photo before the sun goes away…..
